TIMOTHY SCOTT BRAUSCH is a New York City based performance artist. From visual to performance art, his practice with different mediums and disciplines ultimately aid his innate love to tell stories through dance, music and character. His love for pedestrian movement often intersects with his formal dance training to create approachable and intentional movement and art that is constantly seeking out the uncovered.
Most recently he danced with Jacob Jonas the Company in thier European premiere work KEEPING SCORE: A Trilogy at the renowned arts festival Kampnagel in Hamburg, Germany. Other notable work includes the national tour of Chicago The Musical with direction and choreography set by David Hyslop, Gregory Butler and Robert Billig, the national tour of Lincoln Center Theater’s My Fair Lady with original direction by Bartlett Sher set by Samantha Saltzman and dancing a featured role in Grammy Nominated artist Glass Animals’ music video “I Don’t Wanna Talk(I Just Wanna Dance).”He is proudly represented by the Pantera/Murphy Agency based out of New York City.
His passion lies simply in breaking down the barrier between artist and viewer, creating an experience that both explores and escapes reality; art that is relevant and urgent.

THE SLOW RECOVERY OF THE HUMAN
Human Unreadable immerses audiences and collectors in a three-act, embodied, generative art experience. The acts weave together code, choreography, blockchain, generative art, cryptography, and performance into an evolving conceptual experience - the slow recovery of the human. The work brings flesh and viscerality into code and vulnerability [as a feature] into long-form on-chain generative art.

Restart considers the psychological aftermath of illness—making sense of life and death, light and darkness, and everything in between. And all the guests along the way. Restart is about soil: found often for construction, during death to bury one’s flesh into the earth, or in a garden to bring new seeds to life. This questions if one can begin again and re-enter into their deepest humanity. If the question of what happened could be answered and the wounds it left could be healed.
